Cherrapunjee has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for being the wettest place on earth. It doesn’t have the title anymore, but the vistas of rolling hills and deep valleys can still stop you in your tracks. Located 4,500 feet above ground level, a sheet of mist covers the town and gives you the feeling that you are walking in the clouds. On every turn, a waterfall rockets down the valley and the vista of curtains of water gushing into pools will simply leave you breathless.
