The pride of Central Nepal, the Annapurna region is the most diverse and popular trekking area in Nepal. From three-week long treks to short three-day treks, there's a trek suitable for everyone here. Annapurna offers rich cultural experiences, uninterrupted views of lush farmlands, snowy mountains, and deep forests, and a chance to see villages with multi-ethnic communities. Most of the treks in Annapurna start from the Pokhara Valley – located 203 km west of Kathmandu. And because, a large part of the Annapurna region falls in the rain shadow area, it stays considerably dry making treks possible even during the monsoon.
The trek routes wind their way through the foothills of the Western Himalayan Range, home to peaks such as Annapurna (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Manaslu (8157m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Hiuchuli, Mardi Himal and others. Between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri lies the valley of the Kali-Gandaki River, the deepest gorge in the world.
It is here, situated amidst the world’s highest mountains, that the Yeti Mountain Home Lodges offer you a selection of luxury accomodations, excellent food, and wonderful traditional Sherpa hospitality.
